Terrend Ross Jr

Terrend O. Ross Jr. is an experienced energy industry professional and Program Manager with nearly two decades of experience supporting demand response, load management, and energy technology initiatives. Before joining Tampa Electric (TECO), Terrend worked with Comverge/Itron, supporting Gulf Power's Energy Select program and helping customers realize the benefits of demand response and smart energy management solutions.<br />Over the past seven years at TECO, Terrend has played a key role in advancing demand response technologies, including guiding the evolution of communications systems from Zigbee-based platforms to next-generation GenX communications. Known for his ability to bridge technical, operational, and business priorities, he has successfully led cross-functional efforts that drive innovation, enhance customer experiences, and improve program performance.<br />Currently serving as Program Manager for TECO's Energy Planner, Prime Time Plus, and Commercial Load Management programs, Terrend is passionate about developing strategic solutions, fostering collaboration, and advancing the future of energy management.
