Travis Shanahan is Principal Technical Architect, R&D at Itron, where he focuses on new product development and open standards for grid-edge intelligence and device connectivity. He is actively involved in the LF Energy Grid Edge Interoperability and Security Alliance (GEISA) working group, contributing to industry specifications for grid-edge software architecture and interoperability. Travis also chairs the Open Mobile Alliance's Strategic Communications Working Group, helping connect utilities, smart cities, and technology providers around open standards that enable secure, scalable, and future-ready connected solutions.
